labour currencies

the item backing the note is a period of time of work, not a physical itesm. e.g. 1/2 hour of general activity

after completing the work the note must be returned to the person completing the work or the issuer (individual person issuer / organisation)

the note represents 1/2 hour of work once, not many times into the future

the person receiving the note back can give out new notes or old notes in payment for items, e.g. food in shops



sequence

write a new note or select an old note

use the note as a usual $100 note to purchase items

the note may curculate through buying and selling items

if redeemed for actual real work, the note must be returned to the person doing the work once it is completed



complex compared to other currency types

the same as paying $100 of normal money for 1/2 hour work (or whatever is the amount listed on the note)
